Family Constellations
Group Sessions | One-on-One Sessions
Family Constellations is an experiential approach to observing and shifting patterns within one's relationships. People and objects in the room represent elements of someone’s personal issue for tangible interaction with the issue’s components. The facilitator helps the client set up the constellation, navigate revelations that arise, and make changes to shift patterns.
YOUR FACILITATOR
Lara Marcin comes to Family Constellations through a deep love of participating in the work herself. She is humbled and awed by how Family Constellations brings people into embodied presence within themselves and with each other such that even difficult, complicated challenges can be brought to light. Inspired to show up in this embodied presence more consistently and to enable others to do the same, Lara enlisted in Bill Mannle, LMFT's Family Constellations facilitator training program. Lara intends to open up space for her clients to better know themselves. Rooted in a long history as a choreographer, theatrical director, and dance educator, Lara facilitates the same curiosity, open mindedness, trust-of-self, enhancement of instinct, and willingness to fail inside her constellation sessions.

In group sessions, someone working on their issue will invite other attendees to represent factors of the issue. Other attendees can either accept the invitation or opt to remain outside of the constellation as supportive witnesses.
No previous experience with Family Constellations is needed to attend.
Attendees keep each other’s identities and all contents of group sessions confidential.

ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS
1/2 hour Intake Session, 1 hr Constellation Session, 1/2 hour Integration Session

In one-on-one sessions, clients bring a personal issue that they want to examine and change. Clients have an intake session one week, a constellation session the following week, and an integration session the week after. Spreading out the work supports the client to examine layers of their issue and incorporate insights into their daily life. No previous experience with Family Constellations is needed to book sessions. The facilitator keeps the client’s identity and all contents of the sessions confidential.
Intake Session: The client and facilitator meet each other, discuss what issue brings the client to Family Constellations, and cover what the client's constellation and integration sessions will look like.
Constellation Session: The client and facilitator lay out and move through the constellation for the client’s issue. Props, reflective inquiry, and the facilitator or client stand in for factors of the issue to support the client to examine their issue’s components and make changes to its patterns.
Integration Session: After giving the client time to sit with their experience, the client and facilitator meet again to reflect on what happened within the client's constellation and what has happened in the client's life since.
DISCLAIMERS
It is very likely that not every group member will be able to bring their own issue into focus during every group session. Preference will be given to group members who came to previous sessions and didn't work on their issues.
Lara is an integrative facilitator, not a therapist. Work with Lara is not a substitute for professional or medical consultation. Outcomes of each session are not predictable and are dependent on the individual. Previous results do not guarantee similar outcomes.
Clients sign a liability waiver during their first session which covers all subsequent Family Constellations work with Lara until the waiver’s content changes.
